Introduction to Emails

Emails are a powerful way to communicate with your customers, whether it's for booking confirmations, reminders, or marketing campaigns. Attendup provides a flexible email system that allows you to create and manage email templates, schedule emails, and personalise content using the Attendup Templating Language (ATL) - a templating language built just for Attendup (we'll come onto that soon!).

The main components of the email system are:

• Email Templates: You can create and customise the email templates that will be used for various purposes, such as booking confirmations, cancellation notifications, and more. These templates can be written in MJML or HTML and can include dynamic content using ATL syntax.

• Scheduled Emails: You can set up emails to be sent automatically before or after a booking takes place. This is useful for sending reminders, follow-ups, or any other relevant information to your customers.
